Responsibilities

• Follows post orders for general and specific assignments.
• Applies use of force rules to subdue or detain only as necessary.
• Patrols buildings and grounds of industrial plants or commercial sites.
• Interviews guests and employees to detect disturbances, theft, or safety issues.
• Patrols lobbies, corridors, and public areas to detect fires and unsafe conditions.
• Inspects doors, windows, and gates to ensure security.
• Drives radio-equipped vehicles and monitors alarms.
• Notifies staff and authorities of irregularities.
• Writes investigation and automobile usage reports.
