Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, seeks an Industrial Security Specialist for our El Segundo, CA facility. This onsite role ensures a secure environment for classified programs and enforces DoD and government security requirements, coordinating with government representatives.

Qualifications

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for creating a secure environment to facilitate the successful development and execution of classified programs at the assigned organization where classified information is stored, accessed, or where accessed personnel are assigned.


The Industrial Security Manager will enforce strict adherence to applicable laws as well as national DoD, and other security policies and requirements. Coordination of classified matters with the respective government representatives will be at the forefront of their responsibilities. The Industrial Security Specialist will be charged with the establishment of quality training for assigned accessed personnel and conduct and document annual compliance inspections and develop Corrective Action Plans (CAP).This is an onsite role in our office in El Segundo, CA.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Manages the Program Security Team while ensuring compliance for security requirements for Collateral, SCI and SAP programs while providing technical expertise concerning all security disciplines; evaluate and deliver performance reviews

  • Oversee successful support of staff assisted visits, security reviews and inspections as well as conducting initial, recurring and refresher security education training

  • Oversee process of accreditation of facilities; ensure maintenance of accreditation artifacts for all facilities, ensure accreditations are accurate and current

  • Reviews Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) deliverables for security. This includes but is not limited to IS & Physical Security Plans, Management Plans and Test Plans. Provide comments and recommendations as required

  • Assists with the development of Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP); Review and provide comments for Statements of Work, contracts, Request for Proposal (RFP), and various Security Plans

  • Develops and maintains Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that adhere to government policy and regulations. Additionally, craft policies that telegraph procedures for operations at the company level

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):


  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in Industrial Security

  • Must have experience with SAPs

  • Must be knowledgeable of the following Government policies; NISPOM, DoDM 5205.07 ICD-705, Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (ICD/ICS 705 compliance documents), DoD 5105.21 Vol 1-3, Sensitive Compartmented Information Security Manual Series, The Security, Use and Dissemination of Sensitive Compartmented Information, JSIG

  • Minimum of 1 year managing and developing high performing teams supporting Industrial Security management

  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility (U.S. Citizenship Required. A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)


Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):


  • Experience with successful support of staff assisted visits, security reviews and compliance inspections

  • Experience with generating DD-254s and sub-contractor oversight

  • Experience with physical construction of Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and/or Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs); ICD-705 knowledge

  • OPSEC & Program Protection Planning experience

  • Experience developing Program Protection Implementation Plans (PPIP)

  • Experience and proficiency as a Special Access Program Accountability Officer (SAPAO) formerly TSCO

  • Experience conducting indoctrinations pertaining to classified program information, general and program specific security awareness, and ad hoc briefings related to maintaining Secure environment

  • Experience with handling, transporting, documenting, and accounting for classified material
