Timken Gears & Services Philadelphia Gear has a current opening at their headquarters in King of Prussia, PA, for an Industrial Security Manager. This position manages and oversees Industrial Security, working closely with the Assistant Facility Security Officer(s), Senior Management Official, Insider Threat Program Senior Official, Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information Control Officer, and Senior Attorney-Power Systems to ensure compliance with defense industrial base security requirements and promote cybersecurity resilience across IT platforms, networks, and infrastructure. The role also involves liaising with external and internal entities to maintain operational effectiveness.

The Industrial Security Manager - FSO ensures that company facilities and IT assets—including hardware, software, and accessories—meet all requirements for safeguarding controlled technical data, complying with Department of Defense regulations and other relevant standards for classified and unclassified information.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Headquarters’ Enterprise Information Security & Architecture team for related requirements.
• Implement NISPOM security requirements.
• Develop, document, and monitor security policies and procedures.
• Interpret security policies, provide guidance, and conduct ongoing security training.
• Manage personnel and facility clearances, debriefs, badging, tracking, and education.
• Administer security programs, including personnel processing, access control, audits, violation investigations, and asset management.
• Identify threats and vulnerabilities; implement risk mitigation solutions.
• Support compliance with CMMC, NIST 800-171, and other government standards.
• Ensure proper handling of classified information, including media and equipment security, incident reporting, and threat detection.
• Oversee physical security controls and emergency protocols.
• Travel to facilities for assessments, training, and support activities as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with security policies, regulations, and systems.
• Knowledge of networking, data backup, disaster recovery, intrusion detection, and risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Security Management, Criminal Justice, or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Personal Clearance (PCL) – preferred at the top secret level.
• At least 7 years of security management experience.
• US Citizenship required.

This role may involve access to export-controlled technical data under US State (ITAR) and Commerce (EAR) regulations. Eligible candidates include US Citizens, Green Card holders, Asylees, or others authorized for US export licenses. Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
