Job summary

Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has a great opportunity for a Security Coordinator for our NITE Contract located in Key West Florida.

In this position you will carry out the security measures necessary for implementing requirements of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), government security regulations, and company security policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 3 years relevant experience with Bachelor's in related field; 1 year with Master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
• Must currently possess and be able to maintain a DoD Secret clearance with the ability to upgrade to a Top Secret with SCI Eligibility
• Strong working knowledge of personnel security; classified information systems, classified contract management and DD Form 254 preparation
• Strong knowledge and use of DISS.
• Knowledge and experience enforcing security policies and procedures.
• Experience with COMSEC instructions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of NISP and related security activities for HII Mission Technologies, including document control, visitor control, personnel security, physical security, and DD Form 254 preparation.
• Prepare, track, and monitor all security QMS documents to ensure update timelines.
• Provide weekly security status reports for Key West Tactical Training Range.
• Provide guidance to employees to report potential security breaches.
• Ensure completion of security paperwork and training.
