Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Industrial Security Representative to support multiple programs and government customers, providing personnel and industrial security across DoD and Public Trust environments. You will manage background investigations, clearance and suitability processing, documentation, and compliance with government regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with 4–8 years (or 2–6 with a Master) of relevant experience, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 4–8 years of relevant experience or a Master’s degree and 2–6 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.
• Working knowledge of personnel and industrial security concepts, principles, practices, and applicable government security requirements.
• Proficiency with eAPP and Public Trust background investigation processing.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage security processes and develop solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy; data entry and record-keeping skills.

Responsibilities

• Interpret, review, and apply security policies and requirements from government customers.
• Develop, administer, and audit security processes to ensure compliance with regulations and contracts.
• Independently manage security processes, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Provide day-to-day security support and continuous assessment of procedures.
• Assist candidates and employees with Public Trust background investigations and eAPP processing.
• Maintain security data in SIMS and other government systems; generate metrics and reports.
