Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2/CPSO in San Diego, CA. The role supports multiple programs with classified requirements, developing and administering security programs for classified materials and coordinating with internal and external customers.

Responsibilities include security education, investigating violations, and preparing compliance documentation. Requires active TS clearance, CPSO experience, and DoD regulatory knowledge.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years CPSO or relevant experience.
  • Current Active Top Secret Clearance required.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Preferred: experience with DISS, SIMS, and/or JADE CPSO.

  • Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment.
  • Conducts security education classes and related briefings.
  • Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken.
  • Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials.
  • Supports a broad scope of security postures, including DoD collateral, SAP, and SCIP.

The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: supporting a fast-paced, high profile program; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor’s access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and related briefings. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures. Would be supporting a broad scope of security postures, to include DoD collateral, Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2 years of CPSO, Industrial Security or relevant experience: An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's. Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures. Current Active Top Secret Clearance. US Citizenship. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with DISS, SIMS, and or JADE.CPSO experience.MPR#Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
