Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2/CPSO to support classified programs across DoD, federal and customer requirements. The role focuses on developing and administering security programs for controlled materials, access control, personnel and physical security, and OPSEC.

A Bachelor's degree plus 2+ years in CPSO or industrial security and a current Top Secret clearance are required. U.S. citizenship is mandatory; travel up to 10% may be required.

  • Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM sponsor procedures.
  • Current Active Top Secret Clearance.

  • Support a fast-paced, high profile program and maintain security program procedures.
  • Develop, administer, and enforce security for classified materials and restricted records.
  • Manage access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC and related security measures.
  • Prepare manuals and determine procedures for handling, storing, and granting access to restricted materials.
  • Conduct security education classes and briefings; investigate violations and document preventive actions.

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Industrial Security Analyst 2/CPSO. This position supports program(s) as it relates to all applicable classified federal, contractual, customer and company requirements. The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: supporting a fast-paced, high profile program; create, maintain and leverage working relationships with internal and external customers. Develops, and administers security programs and procedures for classified or proprietary materials, documents, and equipment. Experience in program security, with knowledge of implementing a multi-disciplined security program (access control, personnel security, physical security, OPSEC etc.). Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations. Obtains rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies. Prepares manuals outlining regulations, and establishes procedures for handling, storing, and keeping records, and for granting personnel and visitor's access to restricted records and materials. Conducts security education classes and related briefings. Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive action to be taken. Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures. Would be supporting a broad scope of security postures, to include DoD collateral, Special Access Program and Sensitive Compartmented Information.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of CPSO, Industrial Security or relevant experience: An additional 4 years of applicable work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's.
  • Knowledge of DoD 5205.07 SAP Manual, ICD 705, ICD 704, and/or NISPOM applicable sponsor procedures.
  • Current Active Top Secret Clearance.
  • US Citizenship.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with DISS, SIMS, and or JADE.
  • CPSO experience.

MPR#

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 - $113,800.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
