Job summary

Raytheon in Camden, AR is seeking a Security Specialist to oversee classified security operations onsite. You will administer NISPOM procedures, develop SOPs and OPSEC plans, and manage security for shipments, storage, and contractors.

The role requires a university degree or equivalent, 3–5 years of relevant experience, and an active Secret clearance. Onsite position with duties including inspections, alarm response, and security training.

Responsibilities

• Administer security procedures (NISPOM) as they relate to operating in a classified environment for personnel processing, media control, marking and control of documents/materials, security education, visitor control, destruction of classified materials.
• Develop, prepare, and implement local SOPs, OPSEC plans, and proprietary test plans utilizing risk management principles.
• Support testing, shipment, and storage of classified material and hardware.
• Provide security oversight and management to subcontractors and suppliers via DD Form 254 or other contractual methods.
• Conduct and/or participate in internal reviews and Government inspections.
• Investigate security infractions/violations and prepare reports specifying potential loss or compromise and associated risk to programs.
• Possess a valid driver’s license for escorting individuals across locations.
• Respond to alarms at the Raytheon site within 1 hour when needed.
• Complete DCSA required training as FSO for Possessing Facilities.
• Manage COMSEC as a Hand Receipt Holder from the parent COMSEC Account.
• Serve as Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) in absence of the FSO.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience.


• Experience with conducting or supporting security audits, inspections, or internal reviews in compliance with NISPOM.


• Active and transferable Secret clearance level required at time of application. U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Secret or higher clearance level or program access prior to start date.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience in national security or related field.


• Completed training with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) for FSO Possessing Facilities and/or the Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE), including achievement of Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or equivalent.


• Prior experience with physical security includes working with cleared guard force.


• COMSEC Experience.

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
