Job summary

Austin Industrial is seeking a Scaffold Builder Helper for the Tulsa, OK area. You will assist Scaffold Builders in constructing, assembling, maintaining, and dismantling tubular scaffolding or other temporary structures on industrial sites.

Responsibilities include transporting materials, hoisting scaffolding, securing sections, and adhering to OSHA and site requirements. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States; sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• 6+ months experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.
• Safety-conscious with ability to follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Transport tubular scaffold or other structural material and erect the scaffold as instructed.
• Hoist scaffolding materials upward to erect temporary structure.
• Secure and level locking sections of scaffolding material.
• Secure scaffold to the permanent structure for stability.
• Follow OSHA and site requirements for erecting and navigating scaffolding.
• Pass materials and tools to Journeyman as needed.
• Dismantle scaffolding when instructed.
• Other duties as assigned.
