Industrial Saw Operator – 2nd Shift

Location: Houston, TX 77028
Pay: Starting at $20.00 per hour | Starting rate may vary based on experience and qualifications
Schedule: 2:30 PM – 1:30 AM | 5–6 Days Per Week
Employment Type: Full-Time | Weekly Pay

Openwork is hiring an experienced Industrial Saw Operator for a manufacturing facility in Houston. If you enjoy hands‑on work, operating equipment, and being part of a safety‑focused production team, this is a great opportunity to build a long‑term career.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate an industrial bridge saw.
• Read cut lists and production specifications.
• Measure, mark, and cut materials accurately.
• Operate a forklift to move and stage materials.
• Perform basic equipment checks and complete production logs.
• Inspect finished products for quality.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all safety and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industrial saw, machine operator, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience operating an industrial bridge saw (such as marble or granite slab saws) is a strong plus.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift throughout a 10+ hour shift.
• Must be clean‑shaven each workday for proper respirator fit.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Safety & Work Environment

• Work with lead‑based materials in a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Required use of PPE, including a respirator.
• Daily showering before leaving the facility and periodic blood testing are required as part of company safety protocols.
