Job summary

Accenture's SAP practice seeks an experienced professional to lead development of SAP custom solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, and Clean Core. You will guide teams, drive architecture decisions, and help modernize ABAP with Cloud-native approaches.

Travel may be required up to 0–100% based on client needs. 5+ years in SAP development and 2+ years in tech leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience developing SAP applications using S/4HANA ABAP (NetWeaver 7.4/7.5) and ABAP Cloud.
• Minimum 3 years experience with SAP BTP tools and services (latest Application Development and Automation stack).
• Minimum 3 years experience with data modeling using CDS views, AMDP, OData, or related custom development.
• Minimum 3 years SAP custom development using Fiori-first, Clean Core, and BTP side-by-side approaches, including RAP.
• Minimum 2 years in a technical leadership role (code reviews, architecture sign-offs, client workshops).
• Prior experience in a Consulting/Advisory role.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, build, and test of SAP custom development and extensibility solutions on S/4HANA and BTP, primarily using ABAP Cloud, RAP, CAP, Fiori, and Clean Core methodologies.
• Drive the transition from classic ABAP to Clean Core; guide custom-code remediation and released-API adoption.
• Own technical design for workstreams; conduct code reviews, architecture sign-offs, and design workshops.
• Leverage Generative AI Hub / Joule Studio to infuse development with SAP Guide and mentor global delivery teams; communicate effectively across technical levels and geographies.
