Job summary

Hanover Foods Corporation in Centre Hall, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Sanitation Person (Industrial Cleaner) to perform sanitation and deep cleaning across Production and Entrée Departments. Shift runs 7pm–5am; differential adds $0.50 for 7pm–11pm and $0.75 for 11pm–5am.

Pay is $17.50–$25.00 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, prescription drug, and 401(k). 0–1 year in industrial food, 1–2 years sanitation, ability to lift up to 80 pounds; must read/write

Qualifications

• 0–1 year experience in industrial food industry.
• 1–2 years experience in sanitation/cleaning.
• Ability to lift up-to 80 pounds occasionally.
• Ability to read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of USDA cleanliness standards.
• Disassemble, scrub, wash, dry, and re-assemble equipment on a routine basis.
• Clean and sanitize plant areas and equipment, including disassembly and non-routine tasks.
• Operate forklift or electric pallet jack occasionally.
• Set up equipment for next day’s production run as required.
• Assist and learn to operate various equipment and machinery.
• Follow Master Sanitation Schedule and safety procedures.
