Your role and responsibilities

The Industrial Sales Specialist will work closely with the largest players in the F&B, Datacenters, Renewable Energy, Water/Wastewater & Infrastructure market segments, building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, securing ABB ELIP products as the preferred solution, and helping drive the profitability growth of the business. This role involves visiting end-user customers and decision makers to understand their needs, applications, and specify ABB’s products. The successful candidate will execute the market plan, report progress, and maintain contact with the Market Development Manager. While this is a remote position, candidates should be based in the Denver, CO or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metro areas. This role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division in the South Region. Main responsibilities include understanding customer needs, proposing solutions from the ABB ELIP portfolio, building customer relations, identifying new business opportunities, providing technical and product training, and collaborating with internal teams to achieve sales targets.

Qualifications for the role
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years in technical specification/product marketing in the electrical industry, preferably in Transportation & Industrial OEM markets.
  • Proven track record in new customer/business development and customer relations.
  • Ability to understand and apply the product portfolio to market needs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Willing to travel 50% of the time.
  • Existing work authorization to work in the US.
