Role and Responsibilities

The Industrial Sales Specialist will work closely with major players in the F&B, Data Centers, Renewable Energy, Water/Wastewater & Infrastructure market segments. The role involves building long-term relationships with key stakeholders, securing ABB ELIP products as the preferred solutions, and driving business profitability. This includes visiting end-user customers to understand their needs, specifying ABB products, executing the market plan, and maintaining communication with the Market Development Manager.

This is a remote position, ideally located in the Denver, CO or Dallas-Fort Worth, TX metro areas. The role contributes to the Electrification Installation Products Division in the South Region and involves:

  1. Understanding customer needs and proposing solutions from the ABB ELIP portfolio.
  2. Building and maintaining strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and growth.
  3. Identifying and developing relationships with new end-users, engineering firms, OEMs, and decision-makers to achieve specifications for ABB products.
  4. Providing technical support and training to stakeholders.
  5. Collaborating with internal teams to meet sales targets and implement go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications
  • BS/BA in business, marketing, engineering, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical specification or product marketing in the electrical industry, preferably in Transportation & Industrial OEM markets.
  • Proven track record in customer/business development and relationship management.
  • Ability to understand and apply the product portfolio to customer needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Existing work authorization for employment in the U.S.
