Job summary

ABEC is seeking a hands-on Safety Coordinator to own the site safety program at a brand-new manufacturing facility. You will drive continuous improvement, uphold OSHA standards, and build a strong safety culture across production, engineering, and leadership teams.

The role requires 2+ years of safety program experience, knowledge of OSHA 1910, and a proactive, coaching leadership style to engage teams and ensure audit readiness. Occasional travel to ABEC locations may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years managing or supporting a safety program.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations (1910).
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the site-wide safety program and OSHA compliance.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and walkthroughs.
• Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Deliver OSHA trainings and toolbox talks.
• Partner with leaders to raise the safety bar.
