Harpe Associates & Cemcon is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to support plant safety programs, employee training, regulatory compliance and injury prevention at a cement manufacturing site. This role offers hands-on experience in a MSHA-regulated environment and opportunities to work closely with plant leadership and the Safety & Health Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• BS in Safety or related field preferred.
• 0–2 years safety experience in mining/heavy industry preferred.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations desired.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilités

• Perform plant safety, health, and housekeeping inspections and follow up on corrective actions.
• Assist in administering safety programs and training.
• Identify hazards and communicate safety improvements.
• Support MSHA inspections and address citations.
• Contribute to incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory changes.
