Job summary

Amentum in the United Kingdom is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor to support the development and delivery of industrial safety arrangements for the Hinkley Point C site. You will help establish and promote the safety culture during commissioning, coordinating with construction safety teams to ensure a smooth transition to operational industrial safety arrangements.

Qualifications

• H&S Diploma (NEBOSH) and IOSH membership.
• Minimum 6 years' OH&S management experience in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of OH&S legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience performing and reviewing risk assessments across diverse environments.
• Background in high-hazard industries (nuclear/oil & gas/chemical/manufacturing).

Responsibilities

• Developing industrial safety management system processes (ISMS).
• Participating in the development of industrial safety training programmes.
• Contributing to training content on fire protection topics and processes.
• Maintaining collaborative relationships with HPC construction and safety teams.
• Supporting emergency preparedness and response arrangements.
• Coordinating statutory assessments with cross-functional input.
• Promoting a strong industrial safety culture within CommOps.
