Bilfinger invites applications for a Rope Access Insulator to install, maintain, and repair thermal insulation on piping, vessels, and equipment at petrochemical and industrial facilities. You will work at height using rope access, read drawings, and follow project specs and safety rules.

Required: SPRAT Level I or II, high school diploma, at least 1 year rope access experience, OSHA basics, and valid driver’s license; TWIC preferred.

Competenze

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Current SPRAT Level I or II Certification is required; NDT Level II is a plus.
Minimum of 1 year of experience performing Rope Access Methods.
Experience with insulation and painting in industrial settings is preferred.

Mansioni

Performs insulation using rope access methods per procedures and customer requirements.
Work at height using rope access systems safely and efficiently.
Conduct safety checks on ropes, harnesses, anchors, and equipment.
Follow safety procedures and standards (IRATA or SPRAT).
Complete risk assessments and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
Document work and report hazards or structural issues.
Assist in rescue operations if required.
Install, remove, and repair insulation materials (minerals, calcium silicate, foam glass, aerogel, cryogenic systems, removable blankets).
Measure, cut, fit, and secure insulation on piping, vessels, and equipment.
Install metal jacketing, lagging, and weatherproofing.
