Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking Rope Access NCCER Insulators for full-time, various locations around Houston, TX. The role involves applying, removing, and repairing insulation on pipelines, tanks, and other industrial equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Qualified candidates have rope access certs (Level 1/2) and at least a year of insulation experience or a recognized credential. Travel and readiness for diverse conditions are expected.

Qualifications

• Industrial rope access certification level 1 or 2 is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required; advanced certifications are a plus.
• One year insulation experience or a valid credential is preferred.
• Must be willing to train for other mechanical services as needed.
• First-aid, CPR, and AED certification required (at hire or within 60 days).
• Candidates must be able to travel extensively to support logistics.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove and repair thermal and acoustic insulation on industrial equipment.
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine material requirements.
• Provide exemplary customer service and support reflecting integrity and collaboration.
• Work within a team to complete assignments on time with quality.
• Maintain safety focus per company procedures and practices.
• Adhere to scope and technique standards based on certification level.
• Other duties as assigned.
