Ohio Transmission Corporation seeks a Robotic Programmer to support our Finishing, Dispense, and Filtration operations. The role focuses on programming, troubleshooting, commissioning, and optimizing robotic systems in automated manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate has strong robotics programming expertise, knowledge of PLC/HMI interfaces, and the ability to collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

Requires degree in robotics, automation, EE or mechatronics.
Experience programming industrial robots (FANUC/ABB/Yaskawa/KUKA) and associated automation.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and reading electrical schematics.

Responsabilités

Program, configure, test, and troubleshoot robotic systems and automation equipment.
Develop and optimize robot paths and motion sequences for efficiency and quality.
Integrate robotics with PLCs, HMIs, conveyors, vision systems and other automation equipment.
Perform simulations and offline programming as needed.
Assist with startup, commissioning, debugging and validation activities.
Modify and improve existing robotic programs to reduce downtime and improve performance.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational requirements.
Collaborate with engineering and project teams through planning, execution and documentation.
