Qualifications

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Select cables, ropes, pulleys, winches, blocks, and sheaves according to load.
• Attach pulley and blocks to fixed structures with bolts and clamps.
• Give directions to Crane Operator using signals or telephone.
• Set up, brace, and rig hoisting equipment using tools.
• Splice rope and wire cables to repair slings and tackle.
• Coordinate movement of equipment and materials according to signals.
• Detect and respond to dangerous conditions.
