Job summary

Pearlman Group in Nashville, TN is seeking a Retail Store Assistant Manager to help oversee day-to-day operations of a busy industrial supply store. You will report to the Store Manager and support product sales, staff supervision, customer demonstrations, receiving/shipping, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

The role requires at least five years in retail or related fields, strong communication, and the ability to build relationships across all levels.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of experience in retail, industrial supply, distribution, or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and enforce daily safety protocols with Branch Manager.
• Audit outbound orders for accuracy and shipment details.
• Ensure OTIF service levels and bin-level inventory accuracy.
• Meet or exceed monthly walk-in revenue targets.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized store to deliver a best-in-class customer experience.
• Collaborate with Branch Manager and outside sales to improve customer satisfaction.
