KIK Consumer Products in Mars, PA is seeking an industrial technician for the 2nd shift to inspect, repair, and maintain production equipment onsite. You’ll diagnose issues on conveyors, swap bearings, and tune systems to keep lines running.

Benefits include a 2nd shift rate of $30.00–$33.00/hour plus a $2.00/hour differential, a $5,000 sign‑on bonus, and training on 1st shift for 30–60 days. Overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package support your growth.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2+ years maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect, monitor, and test production machinery and supporting equipment.
• Dismantle faulty equipment and install repaired or replacement parts.
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other moving components.
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems; service hydraulic and pneumatic circuits; repair/replace gauges, valves, and regulators.
• Develop knowledge of all equipment used to ensure proper operating procedures.
• Champion safety rules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and housekeeping.
• Perform product changeovers, including dilution system setup to spec.
• Notify Production Manager and Plant Manager of equipment issues; analyze and assist troubleshooting.

A Day on Our 2nd Shift

Based onsite at our Mars, PA manufacturing plant, you’ll arrive in the late afternoon and step into the heart of our production floor. One moment you’re diagnosing a VFD alarm on a conveyor line; the next, you’re swapping a worn bearing on a palletizer or fine‑tuning a dilution system for a new product changeover. You’ll keep mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems humming—so our brands reach homes and pools on time and to spec.

Compensation, Shift & Training

• Schedule: 2nd Shift, Monday–Thursday, 4:45pm–2:45am (onsite), with overtime opportunities
• Pay: $30.00–$33.00 per hour + $2.00/hour 2nd‑shift differential
• Sign-on Bonus: $5,000
• Training: Ability to work 1st shift for 30–60 days (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm)

What You’ll Tackle

• Inspect, monitor, and test production machinery and supporting equipment
• Quickly dismantle faulty equipment and install repaired or replacement parts
• Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other moving components
• Assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems; service hydraulic and pneumatic circuits; repair/replace gauges, valves, and regulators
• Develop strong working knowledge of all equipment used in our processes to ensure proper operating procedures
• Champion safety rules, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and impeccable housekeeping
• Perform product changeovers, including accurate dilution system setup to spec
• Notify the Production Manager and Plant Manager of equipment issues; analyze, resolve, and assist others with troubleshooting in a timely, helpful way
• Take on additional duties as needed to support smooth operations

Skills & Experience You Bring

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred
• At least 2 years maintaining, repairing, and installing industrial equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Clear communication, strong interpersonal skills, and solid critical thinking
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced plant environment; organized, time‑savvy, and adaptable to shifting priorities
• Bonus: Experience with farming equipment or as an auto mechanic
