HireNow Staffing is recruiting an Industrial Reliability & Equipment Performance Specialist for a Phoenix, Arizona site. This onsite role supports continuous manufacturing, performing preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on production equipment and driving TPM/RCM initiatives.

The selected candidate will work a permanent third shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) with overtime during peak periods, and must reside within commuting distance of Phoenix, AZ. U.S. citizens only. No sponsorship."

Qualifications

  • Five years of industrial maintenance experience supporting manufacturing operations.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Support TPM and RCM initiatives to maximize equipment performance.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete repairs.
  • Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
  • Read blueprints and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain clean and organized maintenance shops and areas.
  • Follow SOPs, GMPs, Lockout/Tagout procedures and safety rules.

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting an Industrial Reliability & Equipment Performance Specialist to join one of our valued client partners in Phoenix, Arizona. This onsite opportunity is ideal for a highly skilled maintenance professional who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment where equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and operational efficiency are essential to production success.
The selected candidate will support continuous manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment while contributing to preventive maintenance initiatives, equipment reliability programs, and continuous process improvement. This position requires flexibility to support a permanent third-shift schedule with overtime during peak production periods.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
  • Support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) initiatives to maximize equipment performance.
  • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs.
  • Complete work orders, maintenance documentation, and production support reports accurately.
  • Execute scheduled preventive maintenance activities while minimizing production downtime.
  • Support continuous improvement projects that increase equipment reliability, safety, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and maintenance documentation.
  • Maintain maintenance shops, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition.
  • Utilize company maintenance software and computer applications to document maintenance activities.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Lockout/Tagout procedures, and all state and federal safety requirements.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to achieve operational goals.
  • Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a safe working environment.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience supporting manufacturing or production equipment.
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred; equivalent work experience accepted.
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and equipment troubleshooting.
  • Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Experience working with valves, actuators, gaskets, seals, and HTST processing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office; Microsoft Teams experience is beneficial.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work a permanent third shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM) with required overtime, weekends, and flexible scheduling during peak production periods.
  • Ability to successfully complete a computer-based maintenance skills assessment during the interview process.
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
  • U.S. citizens only.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous food, beverage, dairy, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing experience.
  • Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting principles.
  • PLC troubleshooting or programming experience.
  • Experience working within TPM, RCM, Lean Manufacturing, or Continuous Improvement environments.
  • Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Stable employment history demonstrating continued technical growth within industrial maintenance.

  • Compensation: $32.00 per hour.
  • Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available; overtime opportunities during peak production periods; professional development opportunities; company-provided PPE (excluding required steel-toe boots); and additional employer-sponsored benefits.
  • Employment Type: Full-Time Contractor.
  • Schedule: Permanent 3rd Shift (9:00 PM–5:30 AM); six-day workweeks during busy season; overtime and weekend work required as business demands.
  • Work Location: 100% Onsite – Phoenix, Arizona. Applicants must currently reside within commuting distance of Phoenix, Arizona.
