Job summary

CoolSys is seeking a skilled refrigeration/heating & ventilation technician to join our Tulsa team. You will repair and overhaul commercial refrigeration equipment, assist with installations, and support service across multiple client sites.

The role requires a minimum of 5+ years in commercial refrigeration, EPA certification, and a valid driver’s license. Expect on-call rotations, physical Labor with lifting up to 60 lbs, and opportunities for ongoing training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• EPA certification required.
• Trade school/tech cert is a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience on systems in convenience stores or supermarkets is a strong plus.
• Familiarity with single and rack refrigeration systems helpful.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Emergency on-call availability required.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair and overhauls on equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing malfunctions and deficiencies.
• Test malfunctioning systems and components.
• Maintain legible records of work history and tickets.
• Provide support by picking up, delivering, and installing cases.
• Assist with small construction/restoration projects and startups.
• Drive company vehicle safely and efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
