Job summary

Rich Products Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Refrigeration in Crest Hill, IL to operate, maintain, and repair plant ammonia and nitrogen refrigeration systems, freezers, and related chilled water systems. The role covers proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring safe, efficient operation in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on experience maintaining industrial ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Experience with vacuum systems, screw compressors, blast freezers, condensers, and chilled water systems.
• Electrical, pipe fitting, hydraulics, and pneumatics experience desired.
• Strong attendance, punctuality, and basic business communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Keep logs and information on operating results and problems.
• Analyze information to determine preventive maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot problems and repair equipment.
• Use maintenance tools to repair and maintain equipment.
• Inspect equipment by sight, sound, and gauges to ensure optimum condition.
• Read manuals, blueprints, and sources to operate and repair.
• Order parts and supplies to maintain or rebuild equipment.
• Maintain clean work areas per GMP and plant procedures.
• Follow safety practices and PPE requirements to protect self and others.
• Adhere to product safety and quality requirements for the processes.
