Job summary

AMS Industries Inc in Woodridge, IL is looking for an Ammonia Refrigeration Technician to provide hands-on maintenance and repair for industrial refrigeration systems. You will manage repair and PM schedules, perform routine and emergency service, and coordinate with accounts across food & beverage, refrigerated storage, and pharmaceutical sectors.

You will report to the HVAC/R General Manager and uphold our safety culture, reliability, and customer focus in every service call.

Qualifications

• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred or willingness to train.
• Knowledge of commercial ventilation and control systems is beneficial.
• Safety training such as OSHA 30 or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency refrigeration service and maintenance.
• Handle paperwork, documentation, and scheduling related to repairs and PMs.
• Support industrial accounts in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and process industries.
• Maintain adherence to all safety policies and govern­ing requirements.
