Job summary

NatureBest Pre-Cut and Produce, LLC is hiring a Refrigeration Technician in Houston, TX. The role focuses on operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial refrigeration systems across production, warehouse, and cooler areas.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to equipment issues, and ensure food safety and regulatory compliance through proper documentation and adherence to GMPs/HACCP. Strong reading of schematics and ability to work flexible hours are needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–5 years of industrial refrigeration experience.
• EPA Refrigerant Certification and ammonia refrigeration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, inspect, repair, and maintain refrigeration systems in production, warehouse, and cooler areas.
• Perform preventive maintenance on compressors, condensers, evaporators, pumps, and controls.
• Document maintenance activities and logs; follow GMPs and HACCP guidelines.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues; respond to emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Work with Production, QA, and Sanitation teams and support off-shift needs.
