Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge and understanding of tool usage.
• Must perform minor maintenance such as bearing replacement and oil/lube maintenance.
• Must use precision instruments as required (torque wrenches, dial indicators, calipers, micrometers).
• Must be able to dismantle and repair machinery in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Have a thorough knowledge of department components including location of switches, valves, and controls.
• Work overhead on ladders or scaffolding when required.
• Stooping or bending to work below knee level as needed.
• Carry out daily supervisor instructions with minimal supervision.
• Dismantle, identify, repair, and put back into service machinery in the department.
• Perform other duties as required.
