Job summary
Bama in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Pie Refrigeration Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM). You will support industrial maintenance on ammonia-based refrigeration systems, HVAC, boilers, and production equipment.
Candidates must have a 1st Class Stationary Engineer license (preferred) and 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing; readiness to work a 24/7 schedule and travel as needed. This is a full-time, non-exempt, on-site role.
Qualifications
- Math and reading comprehension to understand technical manuals and schematics.
- First Class Stationary Engineer license required; 1st Class Unlimited preferred.
- Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance concepts and PdM findings interpretation.
- Available for travel to support technical development or other needs.
- 5 years of maintenance experience in manufacturing, preferably food industry.
- Able to defuse conflict in emotional situations.
- HVAC system maintenance and repair.
- Refrigeration recovery license.
- Six Sigma green belt.
Responsibilities
- Understand and support Bama's philosophies and strategic objectives.
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of refrigeration, HVAC, boilers and production systems.
- Follow safety procedures and lock-out/tag-out policies.
- Complete compliance documentation for audits (AIB, OSHA, EPA, insurers).
