Job summary

CIMCO Refrigeration Inc. seeks skilled Service Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems using ammonia or CO2 across diverse facilities.

This hands-on role requires safety-minded professionals with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with clients and internal teams. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in field refrigeration, knowledge of ammonia and CO2 systems, and a willingness to obtain RETA 1/2 and EPA certifications.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of field experience in industrial/commercial refrigeration.
• Experience with ammonia refrigerant systems and CO2 is required.
• Familiarity with reciprocating and screw compressors.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems.
• Background in industrial refrigeration and/or gas compression systems.
• RETA 1 & 2 certification preferred; willing to obtain.
• Universal EPA certification preferred; willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain industrial refrigeration systems using ammonia or CO2.
• Service diverse environments including food processing plants, pharmaceutical facilities, chemical plants, cold storage warehouses, and ice rinks.

What You Bring

• Proficiency with basic computer tools for electronic documentation
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders safely
