Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Buyer to own purchasing for custom industrial equipment projects. You will work with project management and engineering, request and compare supplier quotations, negotiate pricing and terms, and track orders to meet schedule and budget.

The role emphasizes cost control, vendor relationships, and process improvement within a manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on procurement excellence.

Qualifications

• Purchasing, procurement, buying, or sourcing experience preferred.
• Comfortable negotiating rates and RFQ proposals with suppliers.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to compare quotations and manage multiple orders and deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing documentation.
• Strong communication with suppliers and internal teams.
