Job summary

Tencarva Machinery Company is seeking an experienced technician to repair, rebuild, and test industrial pumps and rotating equipment. You will tear down assemblies, replace worn components, and verify performance after testing to OEM specifications.

The role emphasizes hands-on teardown and remanufacturing rather than routine maintenance and offers a day shift with potential incentives and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on industrial pump repair, rebuild, or rotating equipment service experience.
• Ability to independently complete full tear-down and rebuild projects from inspection through final testing.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, vertical turbine pumps, and related rotating equipment preferred.
• Familiarity with laser alignment and precision mechanical measurements.
• Basic manual machining experience is helpful but not required.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, parts diagrams, and repair documentation.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools, including micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, and diagnose failures in industrial pumps and rotating equipment.
• Perform complete tear-downs, repairs, rebuilds, and remanufacturing work to OEM specifications.
• Replace bearings, seals, shafts, impellers, wear components, and other repair parts.
• Perform laser alignment and other precision mechanical measurements.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, parts diagrams, manuals, and OEM documentation.
• Test, inspect, and verify equipment performance following repair completion.
• Perform limited manual machining as needed to support rebuild work.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
