Job summary

PSG California LLC is seeking a manufacturing assembler to build pumps by completing kitting, sub‑assemblies and tests in a fast‑paced cell. You will follow standard work, conduct TPM, and perform hydro‑tests while recording results to ensure quality and safety.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, and experience with hand tools, dial indicators and blueprints. A forklift background is a plus, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Manufacturing assembly experience preferred.
  • Experience using hand inspection tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers.
  • Experience using air and hand tools.
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and conform to blueprints and instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Perform router steps to complete a pump build, including kitting and sub‑assemblies.
  • Follow standard work and quality assurance procedures.
  • Perform TPM on tools and equipment.
  • Hydro‑test and record inspection values.
  • Complete 5S checklists and daily priorities as directed.
  • Maintain safe, clean work area and attend to overtime as needed.

Education and Experience
  • Education: High school or equivalent GED
  • Experience: Manufacturing assembly experience strongly preferred
  • Experience using hand inspection tools such as dial indicators, micrometers, calipers, etc.
  • Experience using air and hand tools
  • Forklift driving experience is preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, adapt to changing work scope and learn new skills
  • Ability to read and conform to company standards and building requirements
  • Ability to work in a standing environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend manufacturing instructions and read and interpret basic blueprint requirements
  • Must be able to work flexible and/or extended hours and report to work on a regular, punctual basis
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform all router steps on the work order required to complete a pump build which includes but is not limited to kitting, building sub‑assemblies, non‑destructive testing and crating of pumps
  • Follow standard work in the production cell to conform to product design specifications and comply with all quality assurance procedures
  • Perform TPM (total preventative maintenance) on department tools and equipment
  • Perform Hydro‑test on required work order and record values on inspection sheet
  • Complete Standard Work and 5S Checklist
  • Daily Responsible for completing priorities set forth by manager for the day
  • Must comply with the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Must demonstrate commitment to safety & continual improvement of OH&S (Occupational Health and Safety) performance, registered standards, company policy, integrity, ethics, and legal compliance
  • Practice lean manufacturing and continuous improvement in the daily work
  • Participates actively in lean activities, including 5S and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Maintains excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Work overtime as required
  • All other duties assigned

Pay & Bonus

Pay Range: USD 26.50 - 26.50 Hourly

This position is eligible to earn a discretionary bonus based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
