Industrial Projects Supervisor - Lakeland

Base pay range

$75,000.00/yr - $112,000.00/yr

Description

• Supervise construction activities related to industrial construction projects.
• Provide input for the annual building maintenance budget.
• Supervise special projects and capital expenditure projects involving industrial construction across warehousing, distribution, manufacturing, and support facilities.
• Oversee maintenance and repairs of buildings, parking lots, grounds, docks, roofing, doors, elevators, floors, lighting, railroad, water towers, refrigeration, and utility systems.
• Select new contractors or vendors.
• Perform tasks such as creating budgets, maintaining records, and monitoring KPIs.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years industrial and commercial construction experience.
• Certificates for ADA and Hazwoper, which will be obtained after hiring.
• Knowledge of HVAC, Refrigeration, Electrical, and Roofing Systems.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Windows.
• Knowledge of regional building codes and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of warehousing, distribution, and manufacturing operations.
• Attention to detail, proactive approach, and strong technical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate costs and estimates, manage time, and work under stress.
• Willingness to work long hours, travel overnight, climb high places, and attend seminars.
• Enthusiasm, initiative, pride, and commitment to Publix’s mission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• 10+ years industrial and commercial construction experience.
• Contractor’s License (General or Building Contractors).
• Continuing education with CILB.
• Knowledge of Publix’s vision, mission, policies, and guidelines.

Year-End Bonus
