Job summary

Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) is seeking a Project Manager to lead municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction. You will build strong client relationships while balancing technical quality with schedule and budget.

You will coordinate with cities, utilities, and public agencies, manage scope, cost, and risk, and guide project teams to successful on-time delivery, with a focus on public-sector requirements and QA processes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading municipal water/wastewater design and project management
• Ability to balance technical quality with client service and financial responsibility
• Strong understanding of public-sector work and contract management

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal water and wastewater projects from planning through construction
• Manage project scope, schedule, and cost with risk assessment and client satisfaction
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure deliverables and milestones are on time and within budget
• Develop fee proposals and budgets; prepare contracts and sub-consultant contracts as needed
• Provide direction to project teams to keep activities on schedule and within scope
• Maintain Quality Control processes and communicate risks and mitigations clearly to clients and team
