Job summary

Capital Electric, part of the Sonepar group, is seeking an Industrial Project Manager to oversee forecasts, inventory planning, and procurement strategy for OEM customers. You will work with sales, procurement, suppliers, and customers to ensure product availability and competitive pricing while supporting production needs.

The role requires 3–5+ years in supply chain or procurement, strong analytical and communication skills, and Excel proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, project management, or electrical distribution preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage and review customer forecasts and demand planning.
• Monitor customer-specific inventory and stocking strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of manufacturer lead times and supply chain conditions.
• Direct procurement activities based on forecast, inventory levels, and lead times.
• Coordinate communication between customers, sales, procurement, and suppliers.
• Drive best-buying practices to achieve optimal cost and margin performance.
• Review and manage inventory shared across multiple customer accounts.
• Manage SPAs and customer-specific pricing programs.
• Identify potential supply chain risks and implement corrective actions.
• Support customer growth and operational excellence initiatives.

The Industrial Project Manager is responsible for managing customer forecasts, inventory planning, procurement strategy, and supplier relationships for Capital Electric's OEM customers. This role works closely with sales, procurement, suppliers, and customers to ensure product availability, optimize inventory investments, and deliver competitive pricing while supporting customer production requirements.

• Manage and review customer forecasts and demand planning.

Minimum work experience requirements:

• 3-5+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory management, project management, or electrical distribution preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Salary Range: $50,000-$75,000
