Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/ME or related field with related construction experience.
• 2+ years of construction experience, or 6+ years of progressively responsible industry experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and estimating software.

Responsibilities

• Set project goals and timelines with defined objectives, risks, staffing, and deliverables.
• Lead project startup to ensure efficient, successful launches.
• Manage permits, code compliance, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership and support to project crews through the lifecycle.
• Develop budgets, cost estimates, schedules, progress reports.
• Attend coordination meetings with owners, contractors, architects, and engineers.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses, risk assessments, and ROI evaluations.
• Oversee site meetings, RFIs, invoices, change orders, and document control.
• Track costs to keep projects within budgets.
• Review and finalize contractor and trade contracts.
• Manage stakeholders including superintendents, subcontractors, designers, estimators.
• Identify conflicts and implement contingency plans to mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with company, client, and project policies and safety.
• Maintain relationships with customers, partners, and regulatory agencies.

At a Glance

Employment Type: Full-Time/Exempt

Location: On-Site/Bismarck, ND

Travel: Up to 50% to local and regional projectsites and customer locations.

Required Experience: Bachelor's degree plus 2+years or 6+ years

Schedule: Standard full-time schedule. Workhours may occasionally vary to support project deadlines, workload, andoperational requirements.

What You'll Do

• Establish project goals andtimelines for each awarded project, clearly defining objectives, risks,assumptions, staffing requirements, roles and responsibilities, workbreakdown structures, milestones, and deliverables.
• Oversee all project start-uprequirements to ensure an efficient and successful launch.
• Manage administrative projectobligations, including obtaining building permits, ensuring codecompliance, and meeting all other regulatory requirements.
• Provide leadership,oversight, and support to project crews throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage budgets,cost estimates, construction schedules, progress updates, and monthlyproject reports.
• Attend project coordinationmeetings as well as owner, contractor, architect, and engineer meetings asneeded.
• Perform cost-benefitanalyses, risk assessments, and ROI evaluations to determine overallproject feasibility.
• Conduct and manage sitemeetings, RFIs, invoices, change orders, and all project controldocumentation.
• Track and monitor all projectcosts to ensure completion within established budgets.
• Oversee the preparation,review, and finalization of contractor and trade contracts, ensuringtimely resolution of all issues.
• Manage a diverse group ofstakeholders, including site superintendents, subcontractors, designers,estimators, and general contractors.
• Identify and resolveconflicts within project teams and develop contingency plans toproactively mitigate risks.
• Ensure compliance with allcompany, client, and project policies, procedures, and standards,including enforcing safe work practices during site visits.
• Maintain strong relationshipswith customers, partners, and regulatory agencies.
• Actively participate incompany and corporate programs, initiatives, and policies that supportorganizational improvement and success.
• Perform other duties asassigned.

What We're Looking For

• RequiredQualifications
• Bachelor's degree inConstruction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field ofstudy PLUS two years or more of related construction experience, OR six years or more ofprogressively responsible industry-related experience.
• Working knowledge ofindustrial construction equipment and techniques, as well as the abilityto interpret drawings, specifications, building materials, and applicablestandards.
• Proficiency with MicrosoftOffice Suite, estimating software and systems, file ‑ sharing platforms, andstrong typing skills.
• Ability to take initiative,assume responsibility, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Must possess and maintain avalid state driver’s license and remain in good standing in accordancewith company driving policy.
