TRUMPF Inc. is seeking a motivated engineer to install, configure, and integrate TRUMPF’s Oseon and TruTops Boost systems at customer sites, collaborating with Automation Service and Applications teams.

The role involves planning with customers, configuring connectivity, providing on-site support, and travel across the US, Canada, and Mexico; a background in Industrial Engineering or Software Systems and strong communication skills are required.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years in Industrial Engineering, Software Systems, or Systems Integration.
  • Solid understanding of MS SQL Server and Windows Server.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of CAD/CAM software for machine tools is desirable.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing value stream and CNC machine technology is desirable.
  • Understanding of ERP/MRP systems and integration processes is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and integrate TRUMPF’s Oseon system & TruTops Boost programming systems.
  • Travel to customer sites as scheduled; work with Automation Service and Applications teams onsite.
  • Plan with customers and adapt TRUMPF software solutions to needs.
  • Configure machinery to establish connectivity and data exchange.
  • Service and upgrade existing systems; re-configure machinery as needed.
  • Support customers via phone, email, and onsite; manage SIS case queue.
