Job summary

TRUMPF Inc. is seeking an Industrial Project Engineer to join the software integration group for Industry 4.0 solutions in the Smart Factory. You will install, configure, and integrate Oseon and TruTops Boost, and work with Automation Service and Applications teams on-site.

Travel up to 50% across the US, Canada, and Mexico, with local support in Chicago, IL and Farmington, CT. A 1–2 year background in IE/Systems Integration and strong communication skills are required; CAD/CAM and ERP/MRP

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in Industrial Engineering, Software Systems or Systems Integration.
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server, Windows Server, networking, and client-server software.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills; CAD/CAM and ERP/MRP knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and integrate Oseon and TruTops Boost.
• Implement new systems and travel to customer sites.
• Collaborate with Automation Service and Applications teams onsite.
• Integrate software for Smart Factory automation and plan with customers.
• Provide local support in Chicago area and travel up to 50%.
• Configure machinery to enable data exchange and troubleshoot issues.
