MMR Group, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Project Engineer to manage project engineering workflows, RFIs, submittals, document control, and procurement support. The role involves coordinating with construction and quality teams and preparing installation work packages.

Responsibilities include tracking scope changes, turnover documentation, and ensuring accurate client reporting. Requires experience in electrical/instrumentation construction and familiarity with Primavera P6 and CPM scheduling.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or related field.
• Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction required.
• Experience in industrial construction is preferred.
• Must have knowledge in estimating, scheduling, and purchasing.
• Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications.
• Working knowledge of MS Office software.
• Experience with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Ability to read and understand a CPM schedule andidentifycritical paths.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to work flexible,varyinghours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance at work.

Responsabilités

• Manage RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications.
• Maintain document control and tracking logs.
• Support procurement and material expediting.
• Coordinate drawing revisions and engineering communications.
• Track scope changes and assist with change documentation.
• Support turnover and closeout documentation.
• Build and maintain installation work packages.
• Coordinate with construction, quality, and safety departments to generate weekly and monthlyreports consisting of project status and financials.
• Ensure Field Engineers perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate clientreporting.
• Assist Superintendents, Procurement, and Logistics team with bill of material for installationwork packages.
• Assist Assistant Project Managers with design revisions and change management process.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.
