Job summary

Kinsley Construction is seeking a driven Project Engineer for our Industrial Division based in North East, MD. You will provide construction management support to the Project Manager, communicating with field foremen and subcontractors, handling scheduling and cost analysis, and assisting with cost estimates for industrial projects.

A Mining or Civil Engineering background with strong computer and communication skills is preferred.

Qualifications

• A 4 Year engineering degree is required.
• Prior field construction/industrial experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong computer and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical with a drug and alcohol test.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret complex construction documents and drawings.
• Assist in project management, scheduling, and cost analysis.
• Prepare and issue subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Update and monitor the project schedule.
• Interface with on-site personnel to ensure quality.
• Support preconstruction tasks including estimating.
