Job summary

Kinsley Construction, Inc. in North East, MD is seeking a driven Project Engineer for our Industrial Division.

You will provide construction management support to the Project Manager, handle jobsite communications with Field Foreman and subcontractors, and contribute to scheduling and cost analysis for industrial projects. A Mining or Civil Engineering background and strong computer and communication skills are valued, with opportunities to participate in preconstruction tasks, detailed

Qualifications

• A 4 Year engineering degree is required.
• Prior field construction/industrial experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets complex construction documents and drawings.
• Review, organize, maintain, and process contract documents and shop drawings.
• Assist in the preparation and issuance of subcontracts and purchase orders.
• Assist in the preparation of change orders.
• Monitor costs and field quantities on a daily basis.
• Assist in the preparation, updating and monitoring of the project schedule.
• Interface with on-site personnel to resolve problems and ensure quality.
• Assist with quality control and inspections.
• Inspects construction site daily and coordinates deliveries.
