Job summary

The Morgan Corp. Industrial Division is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Managers and Superintendents with daily management activities in our Southeast industrial projects.

You will assist with contract administration, cost tracking, safety, procurement, and reporting to keep projects on schedule and within budget. Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in a related field and have strong communication, numerical, and team leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Willingness to travel and work at sites predominantly in the southeastern United States; flexible schedule including weekends as needed.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of complex work with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drawings, sketches, change orders, estimates, and RFIs to support construction projects.
• Maintain submittal logs and ensure reviews conform to construction documents.
• Interpret designs and drawings; prepare takeoffs; resolve drawing interpretation problems.
