Job summary

NOOTER Chicago is seeking a Project Controls Specialist to support industrial construction projects at the Eli Lilly site in Lebanon, Indiana. You will analyze cost, schedule, manpower, and performance data to guide leadership and maintain alignment with budgets and execution plans.

Responsibilities include updating schedules, preparing cost reports, tracking labor, and supporting change management and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in project controls, project coordination, cost engineering, scheduling, or a related construction discipline.
• Experience with industrial, life sciences, mechanical, electrical, or other complex construction projects preferred.
• Experience with project scheduling, forecasting, cost tracking, labor reporting, change management, and project performance reporting required.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain project schedules, cost performance information, forecasting data, and project controls reports.
• Prepare and distribute cost reports, change order documentation, manpower reports, forecasting updates, and other project performance reports.
• Review project cost, schedule, and manpower data to identify variances and communicate findings to project leadership.
• Support change management processes ensuring scope changes and related impacts are properly documented.
• Analyze committed and actual cost and ensure costs are assigned to the correct budget and codes.
• Track labor hours and manpower data for craft personnel, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Support resource-loaded schedules in Primavera P6 and other systems as required.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to support forecasting, cost management, schedule performance, and reporting.
• Identify operational and reporting issues, perform root-cause analysis, and support corrective actions.
