Job summary

Air Liquide Large Industries is hiring a Production Technician in Freeport, TX. The role involves supporting safe, efficient operation of the plant, maintaining equipment, executing routine rounds, and assisting with maintenance tasks. The position requires physical capability, shift flexibility, and adherence to safety policies.

You will work in a dynamic team, learn SOPs, and contribute to reliability and compliance in a high-demand industrial setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years of technical training or operations experience.
• Ability to work extended hours/shift work including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate understanding of plant safety rules and policies.
• Identify maintenance needs and enter work orders in Maximo.
• Perform plant operations and follow SOPs and safety procedures.
• Operate and inspect instrumentation, piping, and rotating equipment.
• Keep accurate records and documentation; ensure compliance with safety rules.
• Assist with PMs, rounds, water sampling, and truck loading.
• Wear PPE and follow lock-out/tag-out practices.
• Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
