Job summary

San Jacinto College invites a Process Technology Training Specialist to support CPET programs at the Central Campus. The role delivers technical training, develops curricula, and supports labs with a strong emphasis on safety and instructional quality.

The incumbent will engage clients, evaluate training effectiveness, and contribute to program accreditation while coordinating with college teams and industry partners. Some evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Ten (10) years of industrial experience in refining, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, LNG, energy, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or related process industries.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in process operations, operating procedures, process equipment, troubleshooting, industrial safety, and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Ability to instruct adult learners in diverse training environments.

Responsibilities

• Delivers incumbent workforce training programs in process technology, process safety management, industrial operations, and related topics.
• Develops, revises, and customizes training materials and curriculum for client needs.
• Facilitates classroom, laboratory, simulator, and hands-on training with a focus on safety.
• Maintains instructional equipment and supports program delivery and accreditation.
