Job summary

Lisina is seeking an Industrial Engineer I to eliminate wasteful and inefficient processes in a production environment. You will analyze workflows, design efficient production layouts, and help implement training for new procedures.

You will troubleshoot equipment, collect data, and collaborate with other departments to ensure safety, quality, and cost reductions. A BS in engineering and 2–5 years in manufacturing are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years in manufacturing environment
• Proficient CAD (CAD/CAM) tools and CAD/CAM software

Responsibilities

• Monitors operations to improve productivity and efficiency
• Designs efficient production processes and layouts
• Ensures processes meet quality standards
• Reduces waste and addresses production issues
• Troubleshoots PLCs, controls, safety devices, sensors
• Evaluates data to implement improvements in production
• Fabricates parts when required
• Identifies facility design locations and needs
• Collaborates with other departments to set production standards
• Designs facility layout and staffing for production operations
• Helps develop instruction manuals for production staff
• Ensures safe work processes and addresses safety concerns
