About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for cost reduction.
• Develop and implement process improvements using Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma tools.
• Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and other analytical methods to optimize workflows.
• Design and implement statistical process control (SPC) measures to ensure consistent quality.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to implement changes effectively.
• Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for production efficiency and quality, reporting on progress.
• Participate in the evaluation and implementation of new equipment and technologies.
• Support training initiatives for production staff on new processes and best practices.
• Contribute to a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering, with a focus on process improvement in a manufacturing setting.
• Proven experience with Lean Manufacturing tools (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, VSM) and Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt preferred).
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
