Job summary

Muncie Power Products, Inc. is seeking an Industrial Engineer to analyze problems and develop manufacturing improvements. You will collaborate across teams to optimize processes, reduce costs, and increase quality on the shop floor.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in engineering, with Lean/Six Sigma experience, and the ability to read drawings and work cross-functionally. This on-site role offers competitive benefits and a focus on manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in industrial, manufacturing, or other applicable engineering area.
Experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or electronics environment is a plus.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing, cost controls and reduction.
Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies experience.

Responsibilities

Lead development of new or modified manufacturing processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
Update process routing systems and direct production personnel on changes.
Review design releases and suggest manufacturing-friendly changes.
Perform manufacturing cost estimates and support equipment purchases.
Provide industrial engineering support and training on Six Sigma or Lean methods.
